Acoustic Image has created a whole new concept in amplification with unique combos with high power, compact size, and a downfiring woofer, and small, light, yet powerful amps for natural sound reproduction.

We're closing in on a decade as an Acoustic Image dealer, and have watched in wonder as their products continued to evolve - and improve - through several updates over the years. With the recent introduction of the Series III models, Acoustic Image has continued to raise the bar for small-format, high-powered, uncolored stage amplification.
What's new??

Construction: The Series III combo models are even lighter (weighing less than 20 lbs.!) and easier to handle than the previous (Series IIa), thanks to the new injection molded cabinets with integrated handles. The Contra and Coda R combos now feature an internal speaker connection (with speaker defeat switch) and a spring-loaded tilt leg mechanism. The combos and speakers now include a cover with a power cord storage compartment and shoulder strap.

Power: The Contra, Coda, and Clarus models have increased to 400w at 4 ohms. The Focus models have increased from to 800w at 4 ohms. (Series IIa models were 200w and 600w, respectively)

Features: There are some very useful updates to the electronics in the heads and combos. They all now have: three-band EQ, mute switch, dual-purpose quarter-inch/XLR inputs with switchable phantom power, and pre and post EQ on the direct out. The two-channel amps have separate EQ's and controls for each channel, notch/high pass filters, reverb plus other effects (chorus, flange, delay).

• Contra EX - Speaker Cabinet - suitable for all instruments

Also, the NEW Corus Models are similar in features to the CodaR and Contra EX - but they have a special-design low-frequency speaker which is optimized for guitar, cello, and other "higher pitched" instruments - with better sensitivity specs, it sounds more "forward" and present and works well for non-bass intensive instruments. A perfect compact rig!
